Tattoo styles

The variety of types and styles of tattoos grows bigger and bigger everyday. This comes from gifted artists developing and creating new unique styles. A lot of these new styles grow from artists modernising more traditional tattoos. There are hundreds of different styles, so finding one to fit your personal aesthetic is becoming easier. Whether you want a small simple line tattoo or a detailed realistic portrait, there is an artist out there for you. The way to find the perfect tattoo for yourself is through research. 

Here are some examples of different tattoo designs:

Traditional

Traditional is the older style of tattooing but still very popular today.
They mainly consist of bold lines, simple designs, black and primary colours.

Neo Tradtional

Bold lines, bright colours, high saturation and depth are the main elements that when combined give us what we call Neo-traditional.

Realistic

Realistic or photorealistic tattoos aim to look as much like a photograph as possible and is one of the most well known styles in tattooing.

Dotwork

A relatively new style in the tattoo scene which as the name describes It’s done with hundreds or thousands of dots. Simply, it looks amazing.

Blackwork

This style is the distinctive use of only black ink which is used in bold designs , patterns, geometric shapes or even more abstract designs.
